This image was taken in Havanna during a drive in one of these old cars. It was late afternoon, the sun was dipping the city into this warm glow and I felt transported back in time. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

This image won a Silver Award in the Travel Category. It was taken in Antigua, Guatemala during our Central America trip. Normally, Antigua streets are busy and hustling, filled with people, cars, buses, and sometimes animals. The very early mornings though were quiet, with only a few locals out and about and the volcano ‘Volcano de Agua’ was watching over the city.

I captured it at Moeraki Boulders during a day trip when the ski field was closed and I couldn’t go snowboarding. I only took the camera by chance to capture some fun family memories. Capturing moments when I see them is my passion, I love documenting the little things, the real stuff, the unposed situations.
